Sorry to spam you in-boxes with more character pictures, but I figured it was about time I got back to work on the Galerie des Modes series. I haven't done any plates since early May Anyway, here's round two, featuring my character from Flock of Ravens, Nell.
Plate IV. Another variation of the robe a l'anglaise. This one is probably either very late 1780s or early 1790s. I feel like calling this the "sunflower dress." I don't know why, but it makes me think of sunflowers o.o This is also one of the few times I've ever used yellow in an image >_> *must learn to use brighter colors*
Background was made from Print Master Gold graphics, which I manipulated with some of my own textures.
Flock of Ravens is a screenplay series that I've been working on for a couple years. It's almost done, but when it's finished I want to attempt either drawing a manga or rewriting it as a regular novel.

*already saw the other 2* you gotta make a tutorial how you colooorrr~~
and i love your designs maybe you should go into the fashion industry, even though all of these are more for the past centuries, they're still pretty x3
Ooohhh... fashion industry *o* I really want to, but it's kinda pointless when you don't know a thing about sewing XD;;
As for a tutorial, I'm terrible at explaining things ;_; ... Besides, I do everything practically the same as *messa and I learned to color from the tutorial she set up. The only tricky part to coloring is figuring out your light-source and how shadows would fall on the character. But all of that comes from practice... and studying how other artists do their shading XD

I always upload the Galerie des Modes pictures 3 at a time since they're normally pretty simple (just single character pics).
