Marie Antoinette for

He requested that I draw Antoinette and I couldn't say no. I've been addicted to Affair of the Necklace ever since I first saw the film, and Joely Richardson (who played Antoinette) wore some beautiful dresses... so, I decided to draw a screenshot from the film... sort of >_> I used one of the promotional images I found in the gallery on the film's site and drew in the 18th century "fashion plate" style. Unfortunately, I messed up on the design of the corset, so I had to improvise and "redesign" it a bit. That aside, this turned out a lot better than I expected.

... If you haven't seen Affair of the Necklace, then go watch it! Ignore the reviews. It's one of the most under-appreciated films you'll ever see (besides Stage Beauty, which is also amazing).

Thank you^^

Yeah, AotN isn't accurate, but it's only a movie. People shouldn't expect a movie to be accurate. However, a lot of the reviews I read on Amazon weren't even complaining about the inaccuracies; they were complaining about the casting o_O
