I fail at round gowns and late 18th/ early 19th century costumes! TT_____TT I must've gone through a million fashion plates, paintings, and pictures of extant clothing, but I still feel like this is terribly inaccurate... And it doesn't help that I really dislike drawing high-waisted dresses; I've tried to like them... but they just take away from everything that I adore about 18th century fashion (the poofy skirts, ruffles, and tightly laced corsets). The only thing I like about late 18th century women's clothing are the adorable little bonnet hats. They're cute ^_^ And the tall feathers women wore back then must've been lethal; you can take someone's eye out with those things!

So yeah... this is the mid 1790s. Big change from the '80s. Floral patterns were even more minimalistic, corsets completely changed, hairstyles became looser and more natural, lighter colors came back into fashion, etc. The turbans and Greek-style headdresses also grew in popularity, though I didn't draw any here *should've gone with a turban*

And don't kill me for using more "autumn" colors >_< I was honestly hoping to go fora blue and cream colored dress, but there are some colors that I just can't work with and blue is unfortunately one of them.
